BREAKING: 4-star linebacker from Quincy, Florida commits to Arkansas, giving the Razorbacks a major boost in their 2026 class with a versatile defensive weapon….

Daylen Green, a highly touted 4-star linebacker from Gadsden County High School in Quincy, Florida, has officially committed to the University of Arkansas. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 210 pounds, Green chose the Razorbacks over offers from top programs like Florida State, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. Known for his physicality and versatility, Green not only starred on defense with over 100 tackles last season but also contributed on offense, showcasing elite athleticism. Following a recent visit to Fayetteville, Green made his decision public on June 9, 2025, stating that after “much prayer and talks” with his mother, he felt Arkansas was the right place to continue his football journey.

Green’s commitment is a significant boost to Arkansas’s 2026 recruiting class, which now ranks among the top 15 nationally. His skill set fits perfectly into Arkansas’s defensive scheme, led by coordinators Travis Williams and Marcus Woodson, who value hybrid defenders capable of playing multiple roles. Green projects as a linebacker with the range to drop into coverage and the physical tools to thrive in run defense or even nickel packages. With his commitment, Arkansas not only secures a dynamic defender but also strengthens its push to rebuild a defense that has struggled for consistency in recent seasons.
