Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have landed a crucial commitment from four-star edge rusher Chase Linton, beating out rivals Georgia Tech and Rutgers for the local talent. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound senior from North Atlanta High School made his decision on Wednesday, choosing Georgia over other suitors.

Linton, the No. 132 overall recruit in the 2025 class and the No. 11 edge prospect, cited his strong relationship with Georgia coaches, including Coach Smart and Coach Diribe, as key factors in his decision. His commitment gives Georgia 26 players in their 2025 class, propelling them past Ohio State for the top spot in the national rankings.
After an impressive senior season with the North Atlanta Warriors, where he recorded 51 tackles, including 16 for loss and 9 sacks, Linton is poised to make an immediate impact at Georgia.
With this latest commitment, the Bulldogs continue to solidify their position as a powerhouse in college football recruiting. Could more flips and commitments be on the way for Georgia?
